Visit the estuary, a dry tropical forest & a cacao farm in this tailor-made adventure.
The "Churute Mangroves Eco Reserve" created in 1979 with 49, 383 hectares. The Reserve aims to protect one of the few coastal rain-forests and mangroves that still survive in the world. It is located just 45 minutes from Guayaquil a paradise for bird-watching.
• ESTUARY ROUTE: A place where you learn about the wildlife of the estuary. The mangrove ecosystem and its importance, the interaction between plants, crabs and
birds. A place where we can see dozens of species of birds in their natural habitat.
• THE HOWLER MONKEYS ROUTE : A short trail walk ( 0. 8 mile) through a tropical dry forest, one of the few remaining virgin forests in mainland Ecuador. A place to have a close encounter with the bustle of the howler monkeys in the middle of the pristine habitat of a dry tropical forest.
• COCOA FARM: Witness the making of chocolate from cocoa beans and you will have a pleasant afternoon of experiential tourism.

Travel through the countryside 30 miles roadtrip.

On the way there are many birdwatching possibilities and according to the group's interest we will stop briefly to watch/take pictures.

This is a full day adventure from early morning until late afternoon.
A later departure, and /or an afternoon version ( ending at night) is also possible.

We'll do the tour in a vehicle with capacity for 6.
This is an ALL INCLUSIVE adventure.

We'll do the tour in a mini-van for 6, if your group is a larger group will have a larger capacity vehicle.
I will always consider extra room than what is strictly needed.

50 U.S. DOLLARS - The reason for that is in case you would like to purchase refreshments or local treats before the start of the tour.
If your group is larger than 4 participants, please ask for a quotation and I'll provide a larger capacity vehicle.
Since this is a full day tour, please consider the possibility of bringing extra drinking water.
As a licensed guide, I have no restrictions.
I focus 100% in sharing my country with the participants of my tours. That is why I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver. Not applicable in the Galapagos islands
