For much of my life I have been involved in the community, be it on Lake, Park and Domain management, Sports organization's, School and College governance or in business (Farm Tourism, Marketing and promotions).
My interests are broad, these include music, art, sport, politics and good food and wine. You can be assured of lively conversation on a wide verity of subjects.
I like to think of myself as confident and outgoing. I am proud of New Zealand and what we have to offer, I look forward to taking you on the journey that is the New Zealand story.
A Recent Review of this guide
Michael was wonderful! He took us to great places (great coffee first) and discussed what we'd like to do! Saw many interesting things off the beaten track and he had a great knowledge of the area. Loved the brewery and beer tasting and quick shopping! He was laid back and very helpful. Even took us to a 9-11 memorial in Christchurch as my husband was a firefighter. We loved our day in Akora/Christchurch and Michael made it happen.
Over the years I have studied in a variety of areas. These include sport management, marketing and I have done papers on Tourism.
All these papers were done through Massey University while working towards a Bachelor of Business Studies (Still to be completed)
For a number of years I ran a farm tourism business where environment, animals and food were the focus.
