Chocolate Factory Visit
Switzerland's Big Five are mountains, cheese, chocolate, watches and Roger Federer. This tour will allow you to tick off one of the five from your list, chocolate. On this tour we visit a Chocolate World that has been in business for over 40 years and known for their quality production of chocolate. It is located right next to a train station making it easy to travel there. The Chocolate World is located above the factory floor and offers a bird's eyeview of chocolate production. Inside there are interactive exhibits that explain the chocolate making process and plenty of sample to taste. Actually you are encouraged to try as many as you wish. In addition you have the opportunity to create your own unique chocolate bar. Below the Chocolate World there is a chocolate shop and cafe.
This tour meets in Zürich Main Station ( or Lucerne train station) and travels about 45 minutes by train to The Chocolate World. From Lucerne, the tour is 2. 5 hours This is because it is only a 10 minute ride to the factory.

Cynthia is an excellent guide. She was friendly and made each member of our group feel important. She helped us purchase our tickets as we were not familiar with the SBB Train ticket kiosk. On the train ride to the chocolate factory she gave us background on the history of Switzerland and chocolate. She has an excellent knowledge on the history of Switzerland and made it very easy to understand. It was an excellent tour, and I highly recommend Cynthia
