Discover one of the most impressive archaeological sites of the Maya culture
Chichén Itzá is one of the most impressive archaeological sites of the Maya culture. It is a must on the agenda for visitors to Cancun and/or the Riviera Maya.
The ancient settlement of Chichén Itzá reached its peak during the IX century among exuberant vegetation, abundant sources of water and extremely irregular terrain. The Itzáes conquered and controlled the entire north of Yucatan Peninsula for more than 300 years.
This excursion wouldn't be complete without the visit to a cenote. You will have the opportunitty to swim at one of the most impressive cenotes of the area.
After refreshing yourself, a delicious and traditional lunch buffet will be waiting for you! Try the various mayan dishes cooked by the locals!

Miguel was wonderful! He was on time, very knowledgeable and kept things interesting. He thoroughly explained what to look for on the tour and even gave us background info on the area and local customs. The swim in the Cenote was beautiful! And lunch eating a buffet of local foods was to die for! Would totally recommend this tour over a bus tour... they were just arriving in the heat as we were leaving.
