Chichen Itza is located about 400 km west of Cancun and is probably the most famous Mayan ruin city in the Yucatan.
Enjoy a swim in the beautiful and refreshing Cenote.
After swimming you can enjoy a delicious lunch Maya style in a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view over the Cenote.
Visit the old Monastery; build in the 15 hundreds, learn how the monks used to live there and see the old weapons found in the Monastery's Cenote, from the Monastery you'll walk through the old streets with the old houses to visit the chocolate factory, a small family business where they make chocolate by hand after 3000-year-old Mayan recipes. Learn why Cacao had more value to the Mayans than gold and have a taste of real Mayan chocolate.
At the end, you will have a stop at the city center where you can take some pictures of the cathedral and learn the importance of Mexican Zocalos.
