All Day with Basic Landmarks, History, Architecture & Sites of the Downtown and Nearby Areas
From the teeming skyscrapers to the "must-sees" to historic sites, this is the basic "Chicago 101, " a fun and fabulous way to quickly acquaint oneself with the essentials of the Windy City.
We will traverse the many bridges, negotiate the Magnificent Mile, and duck the wind as we meet the City of Big Shoulders. This tour is an all-day affair.
We will see the Willis Tower, Hancock Building, the Aon Center, and the other giants that block out the sun. We will see State Street, the Magnificent Mile, and all four of the districts that comprise "The Loop. " Spending the day with me in "Chi-Town" will make you an honorary Chicagoan!
We will criss-cross downtown, the river and the traffic in pursuit of fun. Our tour will roughly cover River North, the Museum Campus, the Lakefront, the Shopping District, and the heart of the Loop.
We will also head out of the downtown area to explore some of Our Town's neighborhoods and historic sites.
