Anne of Green Gables Fans
This tour is for the ultimate Anne fan but even if you are not a big fan, you will be delighted by the beauty of PEI as described in the Anne of Green Gables series of books written by Lucy Maude Montgomery.
Our first stop will be at Silver Bush and the Anne of Green Gables Museum that is owned and operated by descendants of Lucy Maude. Silver Bush was the inspiration for 4 of her novels. Here you can view the floral gardens, the museum, and gift shop.
Then it's on to French River for a photo stop at one of the most photographed spots on PEI. Our next destination is the Green Gables Heritage Site in Cavendish, this area was the inspiration for the village of Avonlea featured in many of the Lucy Maude novels. Here you can tour the main farm house that inspired the first Anne of Green Gables Novel, take a stroll down Lovers Lane and view the beautiful gardens. This is a tour Anne fans do not want to miss.
