Join my private tour and admire the outstanding paintings gallery, the gardens and the unexpected horse riding museum
At only 20 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord, the chateau of Chantilly hosts the second largest collection of antique paintings after the Louvre. Hundreds of canvases cover the walls of the gallery, as in the old times. Nothing has changed since the royal owner, the duke of Aumale, donated the castle and the collections to the Institut de France. Since then Chantilly remained unchanged ad away from the mass tourism circuits…like a sleeping beauty surrounded by forests, ponds and flowerbeds.
Last but not the least, the horses museum celebrate the great equestrian tradition of Chantilly.
