The historic city, the Citadel, the Changing of the Guard and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham

From the Parliament, this tour will take you to the Citadel, in the heart of the Fortifications where you will attend the traditional Changing of the Guard ceremony featuring soldiers decked out in their scarlet red regimental dress and bearskin cap.

En route to the Dufferin Terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River, you will be charmed by the French and British inspired houses and buildings. You will discover the various historical and architectural attractions of the old town, including the imposing Catholic and Anglican cathedrals, the first skyscraper and of course the spectacular Château Frontenac.

At the Musée du Fort, a sound and light show will make you relive the Conquest of Québec and the famous Battle of the Plains of Abraham.

We will then head to Place Royale, the birthplace of French America, pace the most beautiful pedestrian street in Canada and, on the funicular, return to the Monument de Champlain for a last greeting to the founder of Quebec.
