It went through tough times, and now it is better than ever, thanks to volunteers and New Yorkers pulling together for their park. A new model supporting parks improving people and cities today.
In a city of concrete, lights, advertisements, and shadows, our parks are a surprisingly vital and important part of our lives, neighborhoods, metropolis, and world history.
