Two hours in the Nation's Capital
Start time is whenever you want. The tour will cover (not necessarily in this order) Parliament Hill, Sparks St, the Rideau Canal, the National War Memorial, Confederation Park, the Byward Market, Major's Hill Park, Nepean Point, Notre Dame Basilica, the National Art Gallery.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: Choice places to meet: The Terry Fox statue or the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill.
End location: End at the ByWard Market, at the start point, or another location of your choice.
Duration: 2 hours
This is a two hour walking tour. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Ignore the group size 10 below. We can take any number of people. No change in price.
Everything is free. We will not pay admission to any of the sites on the tour. Later, if you wish, you can tour places such as the National Gallery or the Mint which charge admission, on your own time.
If you wish, after the walk, we can rehydrate at one of the many pubs in the Market area.

Conrad gave us a delightful 2.5 hour tour of Ottawa. He picked us up at our hotel and gave a driving tour for the first 15 min. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city and its rich and colorful history. I highly recommend Conrad.
