Winemakers and wine lovers in the Cape came to know me during the 9 years I worked (and studied) at the Cape Wine Academy in Stellenbosch, kick-starting my journey into wine.
I have organised and led wine and food gourmet tours to France and Italy. A born and bred Capetonian with Mediterranean roots, sharing in my hotelier-parents' passion for food and wine, I owned my own restaurant in Stellenbosch, am an intrepid cook and love experimenting, and cooking with friends and family.
I am a registered South African Tourist Guide specialising in wine. I have numerous qualifications in wine including a Diploma in International Wine with the Cape Wine Academy, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Brandy.
My focus is always on my individual clients and I will always tailor-make my tours with the aim of offering the ultimate personal experience. I'm known to change up the itinerary on the day (once I get to know more about my clients) in pursuit of the perfect experience! I want to share our beautiful country, city and it's people, culture and stories with you. Although my passion is for wine, as a cultural guide, I am qualified to do city, peninsula and other cultural tours, always adding my special touch. Oh, and there will be a lot of laughter as well!
