I started in tourism in 1990 with a small tour operator located at the Port of Sydney. From bike rentals to day tours offering unique experiences such as picking berries, local music and face-painting for children during local celebrations. It is then when I developed a deep passion of tourism on Cape Breton Island.
For 27 years I have gained customer services skills and tourism experiences. I also have a degree in Tourism Management.
Sydney is the only city on the island of Cape Breton. A population of just under 30, 000, Sydney is a quaint and beautiful city. There are many sites to see including the historic North End and the former Steel Plant site. Departing the city limits, the rest of the island offers much in the form of adventure, culture, and dramatic scenic views. I am the best guide to provide you with an amazing tour.
A Recent Review of this guide
We really enjoyed our tour with Barbara. She was waiting for us at the pier with a big smile and a clean comfortable car. As we drove through beautiful country side she shared her knowledge of the area with us. After touring Alexander Graham Bell she took us to a wonderful local spot for lunch. I would highly recommend this tour and Barbara. She made our day in Sydney memorable.
