On the northern shore of the peninsula is Río Lagartos (Alligator River) a nature reserve that also boasts the densest concentration of flamingos in Mexico, supposedly 40. 000.
This underground cenote is in the heart of Valladolid. At the cenote, you can go for a swim to refresh.
