Best walking Tour to get to know Australia's Capital - 2.5 - 3 hours
Parliament House, National Icons and fabulous views.
Start from the Federation Stone right in front of Parliament House. We tour inside Parliament House - if the House is in session, I will be able to get you a seat in the Public Galleries to witness the action. The views from the roof are spectacular. We walk down Federation Mall past Old Parliament House, now the Museum of Australian Democracy, the Aboriginal Tent Embassy - you'll be fascinated by this. The National Library with its Treasures Gallery, the thought provoking sculptures of Reconciliation Walk, the High Court, the lake shore, the National Gallery Sculpture Garden and a couple of our best pieces of Art are included.
I'll help you interpret and get to know Australia a bit more. I look forward to the privilege of meeting you.
You visit Parliament House and take in many of the national icons of the Parliamentary Zone: National Library, High Court, National Gallery and all the interesting linking paths with their sculptures.
In case of bad weather we spend more time inside and less outside.
Generally wear sun-block and a hat or a rain jacket if it looks like rain. Please wear comfortable shoes.
