Tour to ancient Bukhara - 3 days/2 nights.
Welcome to Sacred Bukhara! It is more than 2500 years old city which is situated on the Silk Route.
The Historic Center of the city is one of the best examples of well preserved Islamic architecture of Central Asia of the 10th to 17th centuries. Bukhara was long an important economic, cultural and educational center in Central Asia.
Important monuments that survive from early times include Samani tomb, impressive in its sober elegance and the best surviving example of 10th century architecture in the whole Muslim world. From the 11th century Karakhanid period comes the outstanding Poi-Kalyan minaret, a masterpiece of decoration in brick. The Ulugbek medrassah is a surviving contribution from Temurid. With the advent of the Sheibanids came some of the most celebrated buildings of Bukhara: the Poi-Kalyan group, the Lyabi-Khauz ensemble and Trading Domes.
However, the real importance lies not in its buildings but rather in its overall townscape, demonstrating the high and consistent level of urban planning.
