Visit all the World Heritage sites!
This private tour gives you an overall view of the capital of Hungary.
If this is your first time in Budapest, it's the best thing to do.
Fast, comfortable, still personalized. I use the traffic jams to talk about average salary of Hungarians, apartment situation in Budapest, amazing Hungarian inventions and products, and tell you the best jokes of the week. . .
Budapest has an incredible view from the Buda hills! I can see the astonishment on my guests' face again and again, when they first see the panorama from the Fishermen's Bastion or from Gellert hill. So we start the tour with a view from Gellert hill and then visit the highlights of Budapest.
On Castle hill we visit the old town (World Heritage Site!): our nicest catholic church, Matthias Church was the coronation place for the last Hungarian kings. Along with Fishermen's Bastion (panorama) they have a copy in Disheyland! Then, we walk along the old town streets full of history, 400 years back in time! and I'll show you the secret underground Labyrinth… The mighty Royal Palace houses the best Hungarian painting collection.
On the Pest side we take Andrássy Avenue (World Heritage Site!), pass the Hungarian Opera! to get to Heroes' Square: spectacular monument of the Hungarian history in the City park.

Beyond excellent. Katalin tailored this trip for us, as my husband has mobility issues due to MS. She arrived early, helped us with details related to a completely unrelated matter and then we started the tour. She is enthusiastic, energetic and informative. She brings history to life, telling a story and illustrating through the tour. Were able to see Budapest in daylight and at night. She was genuine in wanting us to love this city as much as she does. And we do. Katalin is the best.
