If you like a bit of history, some urban and other legends, a bit of humor along the way, we will have a great time together.
I grew up in a small Hungarian town south of the capital and moved to Budapest when I was fourteen. It had changed my life greatly and I learned to appreciate both country and city life. Today I live in a small town half an hour away north from Budapest along river Danube, which makes a perfect combination of the two environments and allows me to authentically introduce you the urban and rural parts of Hungary. I used to work as a teacher but when I started to work as a guide part-time, I just couldn't turn back and I became a full-time licensed guide in 2013 and love it ever since.
Let me take you on a private tour either in Budapest or in the nearby areas to weave our way through the most picturesque, special places and let me show you my country from a more personal point of view. I am offering various tours ranging from classical tours such as visiting the most iconic and memorial sites to special tours like wine in the city.
My listed tours offer suggested itineraries, but I am happy to customize a tour just for you! We'll have a lot of fun. I can't wait for you to visit!

Andras was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun! Whether we were walking around the city, enjoying lunch in an authentic Budapest market, or taking a wine tour, his knowledge and sincere appreciation of the subject matter were undeniable! He made for a remarkable few days in Budapest. I would recommend him for any type of tour you are interested in. My tours with him were the best part of my trip!
