And I warmly invite you to join me on a private tour of Bucharest, exploring the best of my charming home town!
With over 4 years of experience as a licensed guide, I bring to my tours a lot of local knowledge delivered in a professional, friendly and entertaining way.
My background is in sociology: I studied Political Sciences & Sociology and during college I lived abroad in Italy and in France. This has greatly improved my intercultural communication skills and made me even more passionate about sharing the best of Romanian culture.
After doing my PhD, for 5 years I taught sociology at the University. It was a marvelous experience which helped me better capture the attention of an audience.
As a professional licensed guide, my goal is to ensure the best private tours and experiences for travelers interested in more than scratching the surface.
All my Bucharest private tours are ready to be tailored into custom tours to fit you perfectly:
- adapting the tours to your pace and interests
- including wine tastings and traditional lunches
- accommodating larger groups
- providing transfers and transportation with A/C for tours
Looking forward to hearing from you and to welcoming you here!
Best wishes from Bucharest,
A Recent Review of this guide
Alina is an outstanding tour guide. She is not Jewish but has taken it upon herself to learn about Romanian Jewry, the Holocaust, customs, traditions and history of the Jews. She is intelligent, well-educated, speaks a perfect English, bubbly, funny and charming...everything a tour guide should be! She responds immediately to questions or concerns. I highly recommend Alina, especially for this tour.
