Discover Southeast Queensland's unique forest ecosystem
Welcome to Brisbane!
If you're keen head off the beaten tourist track in search of Southeast Queensland's pristine natural beauty, this is the tour for you. We'll skip the urban jungle and get an inside look at the real thing.
Our tour takes us deep into an incredibly diverse forest ecosystem. We may visit Springbrook National Park, Mount Tambourine or Lamington National Park depending on the time available
Highlights of our tour may include walking to a magical water hole, exploring the nearby caves or visiting a beautiful waterfall. A backpack and rain poncho will be provided if required, as well as comfortable transportation and a packed lunch. I will point out native bush foods found in this area.
We'll begin our tour from the cruise ship port. After a brief introduction, we'll be on our way to Lamington National Park, or Springbrook National Park. If your time has been limited on the day, we may go to Mount Tambourine instead.
After an hour and a half of travel, we'll reach the rainforest mountains.
Tramping through the bush can work up an appetite, so we'll stop for a nice packed lunch before continuing to the end of the walk.
Its a time to enter the exquisite beauty of the forest, and experince Australia as it was intended to be.

Lucy's Bushwalking Tour near Brisbane was everything that my wife and I desired. Lucy provided us a wonderful experience walking trails in this beautiful part of Australia. We saw waterfalls, rain forest, birds, and an occasional local critter as we walked in the National Park system. Lucy is friendly and communicates well her knowledge of the local vegetation. We picnicked in the forest near a waterfall and late in the day had a coffee at a local venue which was a nice conclusion to a perfect day.
