visit local breweries and try an Alt beer
This exciting walking tour takes you along and into the bars and breweries of the old center. You will hear the history of the local "Düsseldorfer Alt" beer. Famous local institutions such as the breweries "Üerige", "Füchschen" "Zum Schlüssel" and "Ïm Goldenen Kessel" will be visited. Of course we will try the local beer if you want.
You will hear how the Düsseldorfers celebrate Carnaval. You get to know local celebreties like Mutter Ey, Fatty, Rudi Arnold and many others. You may taste the local digestif called Killepitsch. I am pretty sure you will have an unforgettable afternoon or evening!
This is a walking tour through the old center of the city whereby we stop at regular intervals to try out a beer. Afterwards I shall escort you back to the meeting point.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: I can fetch you from your hotel or we can agree on a meeting point in the city center. A good starting point is the white tower (Schlossturm) along the Rhine on Burgplatz, the largest square of Düsseldorf.

Duration: 2 hours
If you need the tour to be longer because you have a need for more beer, that is always possible .... at reasonable extra cost!

Martin was the most fantastic tour guide. He was charming, funny and really tailored the content for the audience. Which was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time from start to finish. The organisation was easy and Martin was really flexible, which with a group of our size, suited us down to the ground. I would highly recommend any of Martin's tours!
