The Vatican Museums welcome everyday the impressive number of 30 000 visitors, so the site is often very crowded especially in the high season (from April to October).
if you really hate crowds, this tour is perfect!
Booking a special pass, we'll enter at the Museums at 7. 15 am
The Vatican will treat us with a nice breakfast in one of courtyards, then at 8 am we'll be admitted in the collections (one hour before the general opening!)
We can visit the Pius Clementimum, the Gallery of Maps and Sistine Chapel before the arrival of big groups. At the end, we can visit the St. Peter Basilica or wander in the other collections, as you prefer

**Bermuda and Capri pants OK, NO shorts**
If you want to wear sleeveless shirts during the tour is OK, just bring with a scarf to cover your shoulders when requested.
Meeting Point + Tour Duration
Meeting Point Options: Suggested by Guide: At the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. It's on the north side of the Vatican City, 20 minutes walk from the St.Peter's Plaza The address is "Viale Vaticano" (photo and map in the gallery). I'll be standing at the white gate, at the small staircase, with a folder with your name so you can recognize me. We must be on time or the guards will not let us in.
Duration: 2 hours 30 min.
-The duration is purely approximate, timing may change from your pace and level of interest.
-Please remember that the Sistine Chapel is NEVER empty, since there are groups with special tickets for 6 am.
-The tour is not scheduled on Wednesdays for the closure of the St.Peter's Basilica.
