A dayly trip discovering the enchanted atmosphere of an ancient Castle and the misterious Etruscan Culture
The tour is aimed to allow you experiencing two important aspects of the territory north of Rome and its history: the Etruscan Culture and Renaissance. Our first stop will be at the Etruscan Necropolis of Cerveteri, declared a Unesco World Heritage for its imposing tombs dug into the volcanic rock and then will move to the museum to discover the ceramics and sarcophagi found inside there.
We'll move then to Bracciano and after a lunch in a local restaurant we'll visit the huge Renaissance castle and have a breathtakinG view of the lake from its battlements.
Pick up at port of Civitavecchia, half hour driving to Cerveteri and visit of the Etruscan Necropolis (1, 5 h). Other short driving in the countryside, stop at Bracciano to have lunch and visit the imposing Renaissance castle (2-2, 5 h) and finally 45 minutes driving to go back to the port.
