As a married father of three great kids as well as a middle school teacher I welcome families on all my tours. My tours tend to be fun, educational, informational and entertaining. I know all the "ins and outs" of Boston and the surrounding areas. I was also a concierge for a large Boston hotel so I am glad to help you with restaurants, shopping and other excursions as well.
Boston is a leader in education and I hold two masters degrees in education plus I have an extensive art, design and photography background which comes in handy on my tours. We will see so much varied art and architecture in the Boston area which allows us the opportunity to take advantage of the many fantastic photo spots.
You will learn a lot on my tour, but more importantly, you will have fun. I am a firm believer in a balanced tour without an "overload" of facts and figures that most people won't remember anyway. You will leave knowing a great deal about my home town but will also go home with a smile on your face. Sightseeing should always be fun, never boring. I am also a huge Boston sports fan and will happily show you where our teams win championships.
I will customize my tours to your wishes, be it a walking tour, a riding tour or a combination of both. My Boston, Cambridge, Charlestown Tour covers all of the sights in an overview fashion while allowing time for shopping and dining. If you wish to alter the itinerary that is never a problem or you can leave it up to me but either way I will show you all the best that Boston has to offer!
Since I am also school teacher, my full tours will run weekend days in the winter, spring and fall as well as many weekdays during the summer. My short tours can run after school hours (after 2:30) weekdays during the school year. You will find me at the Boston Marathon finish line each year on Patriots Day as an official BAA volunteer. Now and always. . . Boston Strong!

Neal has an excellent personality and adds a great deal of insight to the Boston historical sights. We enjoyed his tour very much! His pacing was excellent, his presentation style was engaging and fun, and he adapted to our wants and needs. Were any of my friends going to visit Boston I'd surely recommend Neil as a guide.
