First I want to commend you for choosing to hire a ToursByLocals guide. Once you experience a private tour, you will never want to go back to the impersonal group tours run by guides who cover the same ground and tell the same story every day. With a private guide, the tour will reflect your individual interests allowing you to make the most of your limited time as a tourist.
Now a little about me. . . .
I am an American and have been living with a Frenchman since 1998. In 2003 I dragged him back to France with a baby in tow and the rest is history. Now that my children are older and attend school all day, I spend as much time as possible in cafés sipping espresso or wine. I have learned so much in my time here and I love sharing my experiences with curious travelers.
As a food enthusiast, I have made it my mission to discover the best that Bordeaux has to offer and I will share with you all of my favorite restaurants and gourmet shops. Whether you want fine dining or a riverside picnic, I know where to take you. I will help you avoid the tourist traps and only take you to the places appreciated by locals.
And of course I will show you the beautiful monuments and architectural highlights, making sure to tailor the tour to your interests.
I hope you are excited about your upcoming trip to Bordeaux. There are so many wonderful things to see and experience and I am anxious to share them with you.

This is a great tour guide. She paid attention to what we requested. It was like spending the morning with a good friend - a good friend who knew a lot about her city and had the skill to communicate that knowledge.

I do not go to La Rochelle or Verdon-sur-Mer to pick up cruise shop passengers because these locations are 2 hours from Bordeaux.
