This tour is perfect for those who spend in Bologna or in the area a short-term stay and wish to visit as much as they can
This tour is recommended for people who spend in Bologna or Ravenna or in the area a short-term stay and wish to visit both cities. Being Ravenna located about 84 kms (53 miles) east of Bologna a full day tour gives people the possibility to visit both Bologna and Ravenna city centres in one-day tour. Both cities can be easily reached by car even if the best way to travel to these cities is by train (for train ticket prices see section "what's extra").
This tour will show you the reason why Bologna is worldwide known as "The Learned", "The Fat", "The Red" and "The Towered".
RAVENNA may not be as great as Rome or exotic as Constantinople, however despite its small size, it boasts no less than eight UNESCO World Heritage sites containing the richest heritage of mosaics in the world.

It was such a delightful experience to tour both wonderful cities with Manuela. She knows so much about Bologna as well as neighbouring cities. Her wealth of knowledge in history and history of art was simply amazing. She explained each scenic sites very well and I would highly recommend her if you would like to get to know both cities during your stay in Bologna, but you must hurry as her calendars are already filling up for 2017!
