This tour is great for first time visitors, including the major popular Unesco World Heritage sights. Meanwhile learn about history, culture, the famous Hungarian cuisine and local stories. Besides walking ride on the oldest underground of the continent and on the scenic tram along the Danube.
The itinerary of this tour is quite flexible depending on our meeting location, but I always make sure to include the most important attractions, such as:
Hero's Square and the City Park
Andrássy Avenue, including the State Opera House and the House of Terror
The Great Dohány Street Synagogue
St. Stephen's Basilica
Buda Castle District, including the Mathias Church and the Fishermen's Bastion
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: I can pick you up at your hotel or we can agree on a suitable meeting location downtown.
End location: This tour usually ends on the Buda side in the castle district, alternatively I can take you back to your hotel.

This is a walking tour but we also use some public transportation, such as the millenial underground and tram.

You'll need a daily pass for the public transportation - that costs 1650 HUF (about 6 USD) per person, or there is a group ticket available for 3300 HUF (12 USD) that's valid for up to 5 people travelling together.
