Enjoy the usual and the hidden jems of the Eternal City: get the best in a few hours
My cultural background is mostly based on History of Art and History of Music, which I like to share with my guests. Due to my expertise as a violinist and as a painter, during the walk we will discover not only the "must-be-seen" highlights of Rome such as Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Old Jewish Ghetto, the Coloseum (outside), Trastevere, the Gianicolo Hill, the Pantheon (inside), Campo dei Fiori, St. Angel Castle and the area of the Vatican (St' Peter's), but also some other sites important for the Roman Musical experience, mostly connected to Arcangelo Corelli and the "Parties" in Cristine of Sweden Palace who was the patron of musicians in the Baroque time. The tour will give you a possibility to try to feel and see the most enchanting angles of Roman past and present.
Upon request the guests can attend and enjoy a private Roman Baroque Music Violin Concert (not included).
The walk will pass by:
- The Trevi Fountain,
- The Spanish Steps,
- Piazza Navona,
- The Old Jewish Ghetto,
- The Colosseum (outside),
- Trastevere (which is located Palazzo Corsini, once the residence of Cristine of Sweden),
- The Gianicolo Hill,
- The Pantheon (inside, where Arcangelo Corelli is buried),
- Campo dei Fiori,
- St. Angel Castle
- The area of the Vatican (St' Peter's).
If required we can plan to be at the end by the Vatican Museums (to be visited on Traveler's own using the very good audio-guides provided by the Vatican Museums). And/or travelers upon request can attend and enjoy a private Baroque Music Violins Concert (not included)
