This is a bespoke day tour to include driving through Dublin City. Traveling south out of the city into the spectacularly scenic Wicklow Mountain National Park.
On route we will travel via Dalkey Village along Dublin bay. Enjoy a fully guided tour at Glendalough a 6th century monastic settlement located within the valley of two lakes. There are numerous photo opportunities along this spectacular tour route.
County Wicklow is known as the garden County of Ireland. We will stop for lunch along the route. This tour is flexible during the day.
0900am Depart Dublin based hotel - tour Dublin City highlights
1030am Arrive Dalkey village (photo stop at Dalkey Castle)
1100am Depart Dalkey for Wicklow Mountains National park.
1230am Arrive at Glendalough - Guided tour of 6th century Monastic settlement (Stroll to Glacial lakes at Glendalough)
1430hrs Lunch stop as requested (Small village) choose on the day itself
1530hrs Depart Lunch stop for shopping perhaps at Avoca Killmacanogue
1615hrs Arrive Killmacanogue
1700hrs Depart for Dublin City centre
1745hrs Arrive at hotel (TBC)
