Historical and architectural tour
This private tour provides a more interesting perspective than a car tour, because you can see more details. So let yourself be transported back in time. We will walk at a moderate pace in the narrow streets of Old Quebec, you will see all its historical and romantic aspects, as the 18-century houses, and the prestigious Chateau Frontenac Hotel. My explanations will help you relive the New-France History while recounting short anecdotes and the daily lives of our ancestors and how the city has evolved.
You will have the chance to see Place Royale where Quebec City was founded in 1608. You will learn about the historical figures on two magnificent trompe-l'oeil wall paintings depicting 400 years of History. You'll hear about the lives of the people in Petit-Champlain neighbourhood. You'll see the oldest house north of Mexico which was built in 1677 and the Latin Quarter.

Duration: 2 hours 30 min.
Sunday morning, Quebec City is more crowded, so if possible the tour should start early, also because the bells of two churches will ring between 10 and 10:30. So it will be a bit tougher to hear my voice. So if the tour would start at 8 or 8:30, it would be easier for every one.
In July, Saturday and Sunday afternoon the Old Quebec is very crowded.
This tour is priced and designed as a walking tour.
If your hotel is outside Old Quebec, I suggest that you take a cab or public transportation.
But if you want a car ride from your hotel to Old Quebec, you will need a customized tour because in the Walking Tour price, a car ride is not included, nor the parking lot fee.
My services as your private tour guide.
Be sure that you will learn a lot about New-France history.
Please note that meals and the funicular ride are NOT included in this tour.
If your hotel is far away, and that you need a ride, the price will be at least $250 Canadian Dollars.
