A private walking tour in Rome
Set off on a private tour to discover Bernini's impressive masterpieces. The works of this incredible sculptor, architect and painter are disseminated almost everywhere around Rome.
Start in the Rione Colonna, an old district where the artist lived, where you will also discover some of his sculptures and appreciate the characteristics of his style. Stroll through the historical center and reach the Barberini Palace, where you will admire the architectures and fountains commissioned by Barberini family for their headquarter.
Head to the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria, where you will admire the Cornaro Chapel with the famous statue of the Ecstasy of St. Teresa.
End your tour in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where Bernini's father, Pietro, was commissioned for some sculptures and reliefs and where Gian Lorenzo, the son, was buried in 1680.
