2,5h private walking tour to the hotspots of Berlin's history
A walking tour through the inner city of Berlin, to all the well known hotspots.
Starting at the cradle of middle-age Berlin on the River Spree, towards "Museum Island", Humbold University, BRANDENBURG GATE, the Reichstag Parliament area, followed by Eisenman's ''Holocaust Memorial'', to the new Potsdam Square.
Beyond we will see an original piece of the Berlin Wall, the "Topography of Terror" and ending at the legendary CHECKPOINT CHARLIE.
On our way we will pass through different centuries of Berlin's history. After the Kings and Emperor period, a lot of places are linked to modern times, like the cold war, 3rd Reich, Germany's reunification, the new "Berlin Republik" since the 90's, Berlins soccer fan mile from 2006 and so on. We will pass through a section of Mr. Eisenman's "Holocaust Memorial". He said, "go in and find out what the meaning of my work is". This means, you should better not suffer from Claustrophobia.
So load your cameras, there's a lot of images on the way!
