Germany's Nazi Past, 6-hour tour
From 1933 to 1945, Berlin was the capital of Nazi Germany. See the site of Hitler's office in the Reichs Chancellery, Nazi architecture as in Tempelhof airport, the Olympic Stade, the former Air Force Ministry of Hermann Göring's and parts of Joseph Goebbels' Propaganda Ministry. Nazi terror was planned and organized by Heinrich Himmler and Reinhard Heydrich at the former headquarters of SS and GESTAPO, today the exhibition Topography of Terror. The Holocaust Memorial reminds of the biggest Nazi crime. Adolf Hitler escaped responsibility, committing suicide in his Führer Bunker.
