Your private tour of the must do highlights of Berlin
I navigate through the many layers of the Berlins past to uncover its fascinating secrets - all of which have left their mark creating the melting pot of diversity it is today. From the city's swampy origins to the rise of the Prussian army, through Hitler's megalomaniacal vision for a new world capital to the totalitarian communist regime that led to division and the construction of the Berlin wall. We visit the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the sites of Hitler's bunker and the Headquarters of the Gestapo and the SS. We cross Checkpoint Charlie and see Berlin wall. Discover the contrasts of Berlin today; just a stone's throw away from the bustling Potsdamer Platz the dark past is remembered in the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Be enchanted by the beauty of Gendarmenmarkt and the impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site of Museum Island. Let me take you on a journey, through the city and through time, to discover how Berlin has evolved into one of the most dynamic cities in Europe.

Jessica was a fabulous guide. She has a thorough knowledge of European Jewish history and the Jews of Germany. She patiently explained each site we visited so that our two granddaughters who are 13 nd 15 could understand what lead up to WWII and to the rise of anitsemitism. We all loved having her as our guide. We travel a great deal and have had many guides; we know when we have a guide that is special.
