Discover the capital of the Prussian Kingdom and Empire

We will start at the historical Nicholas' Quarter. On our way to Museum Island we will pass the Berlin City Hall, known as 'Red City Hall, ' and the Television Tower.
The Island has five museums which, with their extraordinary architecture, were awarded World Heritage Status by UNESCO. On the southern border where once stood the Berlin City Castle is now the Humboldt-Forum, the largest cultural building in Germany since reunification.

The rich architecture of the boulevard Unter den Linden was developed by Prussian and German kings and emperors.

The Bebelplatz was built on the plan of Frederick II around 1740. Learn about the history of the square and the tragic events that occurred there nearly two centuries later.

The Gendarmenmarkt is known as the most beautiful square in Berlin. The Huguenots settled in the area in 1685 and built their church.

Going through the Brandenburg Gate we will finish our visit in the new government quarter where the Reichstag has stood since the end of the 19th century.
