It is a city of rain, fish trade, mountains, music, culture and laid-back locals. However, for a short period of time in the Middle Ages it was also the capital of Norway, which has led to competition later on between Oslo and Bergen. This sentiment of rivalry still exists today.
The city was the hometown of composer Edvard Grieg and violin virtuoso Ole Bull and the music scene is vivid even today as several concerts and festivals are organized all year long.
As Bergen has an interesting street art scene I also offer street art tours. The street art tour can be combined with history if you want a bit of both. The same goes for the murder and mystery tour.
I also offer tours in French and Italian, mainly walking tours.

Personal areas of interest: Street art, photography, music, unsolved mysteries.
A Recent Review of this guide
Tone was a very peasant person and provided us with a very informative city walking tour. She took the time at all important stops to inform us on the history of the city and its inhabitants . she maintained a unbelievable wealth of information and we all enjoyed her company.
In 2017 I became an authorized guide in English. In 2018 I took the same course in French and Italian.
