My first 10 years of my live I was raised on a vegetable farm on the Sibun River valley. From an early age I was tough basic survival skills like trapping, fishing and how to use plants for medicinal purposes.
My Dad wanted me to be like him, work on the farm and use the jungle for basic necessities. My Mom wanted us to study, so me and my siblings walk 5 miles through the jungle to catch a bus for another 10 miles to go to school. When my sister went to high school, we left the farm and moved to San Ignacio town where I still live today. My Mom perseverance in wanting us to study is what made us what we are today.
San Ignacio is the second largest town in the country of Belize. It is the major inland destination since it has easy access to waterfalls, Maya Ruins, caves, Rivers and many others wonderful attractions. San Ignacio is very peaceful and safe to walk around at night. Put all that together it's a top destination for guest staying overnight.
I've been guiding full time since December 2002. I've since grown to become a license tour operator in Belize. Outdoor is where my happiness and pleasure are found. Some of those outdoor activities I enjoy doing, apart from guiding, would be Fishing, Camping, Canoeing, and Jungle Hikes. I love my job just as much as I enjoy meeting people from other parts of the world. It's always a pleasure to share my country with guest that enjoys it as much as I do.
If your looking for Fun, Adventure, History, basic survival skills, plants and get to know everything about Belize, I assure you that I'm the guide you are looking for.
