As a young Irish lad, I walked to school with all the military installations and soldiers that were present here, in what is now known as the troubles.
Being a young lad, I felt that was just the way the world was? But with age, I started to see the things this gorgeous world has to offer. So off I went to New York and then to Australia where I lived for four years. I stayed until I heard Ireland calling me back and I returned to find a changed place, a peaceful place, and things kept getting better, everything said let's show Ireland to the world.
I then trained to be a guide and from there I fell deeply in love with Ireland, it's history, it's myths and legends and last but not least it's people of today. I've traveled to many places all over Ireland and I know there's plenty more, so let's go on an Irish journey and if you find a place, let's find it together.

Joey was an absolute delight! From the first moments we were together in the van, we realized he was a proud countryman through and through. His richly-colorful storytelling was accentuated by his lyrical gift for song and the language. We were blessed to spend two full days with Joey as he took us to see people and places off the beaten path. We highly recommend touring with Joey!
20 years experience giving tours all over this beautiful and wonderful little island - known as the Irish Tour Guide. I have worked in Australia and I've traveled lots of Europe and backpacked all the way around Turkey. However, after returning home, this little island's history, myths, and folklore just grabbed me and I fell in love with it afresh. Now - I want to show everyone the beautiful place that is Ireland. Come join me for the journey!
I will guide you into most sites we visit. Some, however, have their own guides and I will leave that to their expertise.
