City of Bath Tour to include one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe
Bath is the home to one of the best preserved bathouses of the Roman Empire, and we shall explore together one of the finest sites in Northern Europe and enjoy a glass of natural hot mineral water - before heading out to discover more treasures of beautiful Bath.
Tourists have been flocking here for the best part of 2, 000 years, but oh so often just have a quick pass by, so please avoid that and spend some time with me as we get 'under the skin' of this unique part of the world, and let me share those stories with you on a walking tour together on the southern tip of the Cotswolds.
Bath is for all!
Our touring together will commence from the location of your choice, be that your Bath hotel or any preferred venue.
We will begin at the Roman Baths below modern street level to explore the Sacred Spring, Roman Temple, Roman Bath and Museum and then sample those warm natural spa waters.
My walking tour will commence with an historical appreciation of MY Bath, its architecture, its culture, the characters and the stories that have given a rich social flavour to this wonderful city.
Among the highlights on this tour, will be Bath Abbey, Theatre Royal, The Circus, Royal Crescent, Victoria Patk, Holburne Museum, Pulteney Bridge, Parade Gardens, River Avon and a special visit to the Assembly Rooms and Fashion Museum.
During our time together I can introduce you to the best purveyors of coffee or traditional Bath Fayre or even traditional English Tea should you wish to take time out.
I have so much to show you and welcome you to share my knowledge.
