These days I divide my time between Bath and London running a variety of guided walking tours, often with a Tudor/Stuart or literary bent.
In 2012 I qualified as a Westminster Guide, and since then I have created and led many tours in London, including some in period dress!
Now resident in Bath, I am a qualified City of Bath Honorary Mayor's Guide and I greatly enjoy showing people around the Georgian city I have known since childhood. My Treasures of Bath walking tour brings you up close and personal with a Roman hot spring, a medieval abbey, Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, a haunted theatre and some amazing Georgian architecture!
My favourite local spots outside my city include spectacular Wells Cathedral, mystical Glastonbury, and Neolithic Stonehenge, Avebury and Durrington Walls and, of course, the beautiful Cotswolds, alive with history and dotted with Roman villas and ancient churches.
A Recent Review of this guide
Steve was knowledgeable, personable, responsive to our group ages 13 -75 and to the warm temperatures of the day. He found great water and tea break spots and a lovely lunch picnic spot. The tour exceeded our expectations!
