This tour will allow you to get to know the best of the Basque religious architecture. From the colossal Basilica of Ignacio of Loyola to the Modern Sanctuary of Aranzazu, passing for the modest hermitage of la Antigua in Zumarraga town.
First we will visit the place where St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of Jesuits order was born in 1491. The stunning Basilica of Loyola was built nearby his house.
Next, 2nd stop will be at the hermitage of la Antigua, known as the cathedral of hermitages, built in XIV century. It has an absolutely contrast with the Basilica.
After, we will visit to Sanctuary of Aranzazu, a holly place that mixes spirituality with nature in a pure basque style. Here we can see most of the greatest Basque artist from XX century: Oteiza, Chillida, . .
