The Bard of Bath at your service! Legendary tours a speciality.

A professional storyteller and experienced guide (Stonehenge Tours; Ghost Walks of Bath; Gothic Image Tours;) I am also a lecturer in Creative Writing for the Open University and the University of Leicester and I am the author of several books on folk tales, folk lore and mythology. I write a monthly guided walk for Cotswold Life magazine.
I love researching and writing about the stories of this amazing country I live in - and have had several books published on the subject. I am also a keen walker, and like nothing better than going on a literary stroll or bardic ramble, sharing a favourite location with visitors, connecting to a place and the writer/s associated with it. I can bring alive a landmark or landscape through the voices of the writers who have lived there; as well as convey a sense of the many layers of history, archaeology and myth that gather around a site. I look forward to meeting you - and hearing your story too!

A Recent Review of this guide

Kevan will take you to sacred sites and beyond. A friendly chap with a deep sense of humour and a broad culture, you will go with him deeply into where your ancestors were up to 5000 years ago. As a bonus, Kevan is a bard who will move you with skilfully narrated stories! Forget the big buses and go through the path less traveled...
