Barcelona Roman, Jewish, Medieval, Gaudi, and modern
On this comprehensive and relaxed tour we'll explore the Barrio Gotico, the Born district, the old Jewish neighborhood, the Ramblas and other historic sites in the old town, the buildings of Antoni Gaudi and his contemporaries including the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló and Casa Milá (la Pedrera), and Park Guell, as well as taking in the spectacular views of the city from up on Montjuic. We'll stop for lunch to try some characteristic Catalan cooking, and adapt and vary the tour to suit everyone's tastes and requirements.
Depending on where we agree to meet, we will make an outer route by car or taxi to see Montjuic, the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and the shore, and then mostly walk to see the Gaudí houses, the Gothic quarter with the Cathedral, Jewish quarter (el Call), las Ramblas, la Boqueria market, Santa Maria del Mar, the Born neighborhood and Roman ruins. We can have lunch, from tapas to a local restaurant meal. If you want to visit inside any of the sites I will book tickets in advance so no lines to deal with.
