A tour in the surealistic world of Dali and the a taste of the beautiful city of Girona
A day tour east of Barcelona, about 2 hours drive very close to the Spanish-French borders to the small town of Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dali, the father of Surrealism. Here we will visit the Theater-Museum of Dali that he built himself, a journey into his soul. You will be thrilled by the power of his allegories and the messages given from his work.
I will guide you around the Museum and explain to you the most important paintings of this genius Artist. We will be able to visit his second museum of jewelry, where some real treasures are exposed to the public eye.
After Dali's museum we will continue on our way back to the beautiful and medieval city of Girona, built from the roman times on the junction of 2 rivers. This city kept its medieval flair so vivid so that is being used from movies makers many times as original screen set. . . . for example, Game of Thrones.
Here we will also have the opportunity to have a break for lunch or a snack.
We will visit first the museum of Dal.
Then we are continuing with the jewelry museum, and we are driving next to the city of Girona.
After Girona, we are heading back to Barcelona.
