Barcelona's cosiest district
Gracia is an old village that was attached to the city of Barcelona, when the city expanded due to the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century. Nowadays it is the nicest area in town!
The district has kept its local vibe, narrow streets and cosy squares. I will make you experience a true Spanish and local vibe.
During the tour you will discover charming little boutiques, original and ecological shops, older locals on the fresh food markets, see young families live their life. . .
This tour covers the neighborhoods' history but is mostly a mix of discovering authentic streets, going into little shops if you wish, making time for a drink and discovering the beauty and vibe of this district.
This really is an original walking tour where you will clearly see the difference with the busy city center. It is one of my favorites. Gracia was also the neighborhood where I first lived in 2012 after I moved here. :) ¿Vamos?
We will meet at the magnificent Art Nouveau Hotel Casa Fuster.
* I will take you to a wonderful rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the skyline of Barcelona. Then we will walk into the left hand side of Gracia where we will visit a fresh food market and see the beautiful Casa Vicens building by Antoni Gaudi.
* Afterwards we will go the vibrant right hand side of Gracia with all the charming boutiques, little streets, terraces, squares and another fresh food market.
* We can make time to go into little shops and sit down for a coffee break on one of the nice squares and I can share all my tips and tricks for your next couple of days in town.
Count on me, I know where to go in this neighborhood!
