A journey starting in the 1st Century BC with a glimpse of the future
Do you fancy getting into a time machine and travelling through Barcelona from the past and all the way into the future? Discover when the Romans built the historical walls surrounding the city as a clear display of their power; how in the Middle Ages those walls protected the House of Barcelona against its enemies; and how paradoxically those same walls somehow ended up acting as a cage to the people of Barcelona. Once the walls were finally destroyed the city flourished like never before, giving rise to architectural masterpieces like those of Gaudí, Puig I Cadafalch and various other great artists, turning the city into the world's biggest showcase of Art Nouveau buildings. We will end our tour in the future with a visit to the most amazing church you have ever seen, La Sagrada Familia, the future, which is awaiting your visit to be completed.

Susana is amazing. I have done many tours with TBL, and she is the best guide we ever had. She communicated before the tour and gave us excellent recommendations for what to do and where to go in the city. We couldn't see everything we wanted to in the morning, so she came back in the evening and completed the tour at no extra charge. We were able to visit one of Gaudi's houses skipping a huge line (we had not planned to go inside initially). She loves her city and has a wealth of knowledge about Spain
