All Barcelona in 8 hours in one day or 4 and 4 hours in two days with a private licensed guide
To see those places you can't leave without visiting, I suggest 2 tours of 4 hours each split into two days or in a row (although two days is more confortable):
First - a walking tour though the old town to taste 2000 years of history: the Ramblas; the Boqueria food market; the Liceo Opera House; the Gothic Quarter; the Old Jewish Quarter; the imprint of the Spanish Civil War in Sant Felip Neri Sq; the Cathedral; the Royal Palace; the City Hall and the Government Palace; the roman Temple ruins (1st century BC) + the Montjuïc Hill for excellent views of the city where the 1929 Exposition and the Olympic Games took place.
Second - the "new" Barcelona built starting in the late 19th century: Passeig de Gràcia, the "5th Avenue" of Barcelona, where the wealthy families settled. Casa Batlló & La Pedrera. The Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's masterwork and the Park Güell.
As transport we can use either taxis or a chauffeured vehicle for 4 hours (the latter allows us to get the most out of our tours).
1st tour- walking tour: Ramblas; Boqueria market; Liceo Opera House; gothic Pi Church; Old Jewish Quarter; Sant Felip Neri Square; Cathedral; the Royal Palace; the City Hall and the Government Palace; the Augustus Roman Temple; and other exceptional places that I will keep as a surprise.
Montjuic Hill for the views and the Olympic Stadium.
2nd tour- Passeig de Gràcia: Casa Batllo, La Pedrera; Sagrada Familia (inside but not towers); and Park Güell (inside).
To visit the inside of one of the houses of Gaudí it's necessary to extend the tour one hour - I recommend visiting La Pedrera (cost of the extra hour: 63€).
With a Chauffeured vehicle for 4 hours we see more places: Seafront and the Arch of Triumph.
Cathedral dress code: shoulders must be covered and shorts are not allowed.
How to book it in two different days?
- taxi option, please book my tours 03 and 04
- chauffeured Mercedes option, tours 02. 1 and 03.
The total cost is the same plus entrances and I understand that you want to book the 2x4H tour
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: I will meet you at your hotel/apartment; at the cruise ship terminal or wherever we agree (as long as it is in Barcelona).
AIRPORT: If you want to start or finish this tour at the Airport, it's necessary to choose the chauffeured vehicle option and the tour will last 7.30h
End location: I will drop you off wherever you want: hotel, cruise ship terminal, etc.
An option is the Downtown, where I will suggest some restaurants to you or some place to visit on your own.
Duration: 8 hours
Tours are conducted rain or shine.
Walking through the downtown (4h) and by taxi or chauffeured vehicle through the new city (4h).
If you choose the chauffeured Mercedes for 4h (max capacity: 6 travellers + 1 guide + 1 driver), the cost of the tour would be 830€ instead 530€ (entrances are not considered in these prices) - if this is you option, please ask me how to book it.

Francesc is a great host, tour and ambassador for Barcelona and Catalan! We booked him for a custom 2 day tour of Barcelona including Monserrat and he didn't disappoint, in fact, he was impressive. He took great care of our tour group of 10 which included 2 wheel chairs. He booked a small bus to transport us and the wheelchairs comfortably. He had great knowledge and history of all the places we went to. Book Francesc, he will not disappoint but impress!
