Costa Brava: Coast Footpath, Fisherman Village, cliffs, small bays, wealthy returned emigrants, lighthouse with a private guide
These footpaths were unified after the Spanish War to control the coast and to stop smuggling.
Paths go along beaches and cliffs in part of the water. To follow them permit us to enjoy the views of the Costa Brava and to step on the small bays that we will find in our way (the path has been adapted and it's easy to do - 30 minutes).
Following it we will arrive to Calella de Palafrugell, one of the nicest old fisherman village of the Catalane Cost. Famous for the Habanera festival celebrated here every year.
Our next step is to go up by car to reach the Sant Sebastia lighthouse (on a cliff 555 feet over the see level). The sanctuary and the watchtower that there are enjoy magnificent views over the coast.
We will eat at Begur. There we will see the houses of the Indianos (wealthy returned emigrants) and we will know their story. On the top of Begur is the Castell to make out the Illes Medes.
The price is calculated considering my private car as a transport. But I can offer other kind of vehicles.
(The first stop is one hour driving time away from Barcelona)
• Camins de Ronda (Coast footpath - easy, although that there are a few steps)
• Calella de Palafrugell

Took thhis tour as well as 3 others with Francesc and things couldn't have gone better. Francesc was not only knowledgeable on all the areas we visited from Barcelona to Costa Brava, but he did a great job understanding which members of our group enjoyed a lot of history and those who didn't. In the end it was not like spending time with someone you didn't know ,he had shared a lot of his life's story and became a part of our group and many of our jokes. I couldn't recommend him more
