Although sometimes it's hard to grasp these powerful systems, it will bring enligtenment to all who revere the ancient kings while walking along the palace grounds.
From this side of town we will take a ferry to cross the might Chao Praya river and walk along the Wang Lang food market. This market is famous among Thai students for the delicious food and hip fashion items on sale here.
We meet at the Golden Mount/ Wat Saket. Clmb this man made hill for stunning views.
See the last family of Bangkok making alms bowls at Ban Bat comunity.
By tuk tuk or taxi to the Wat Phra Kaew and Grand Palace to visit the Emerald Buddha and Royal Palace.

We had seen the major tourist sites in Bangkok so we asked Tommy to show us some sites off the beaten path. I had tried to find the Ban Bat Community before and had been unsuccessful. Tommy not only took us there, we were able to find and purchase a beautiful handmade monks alms begging bowl to take home with us. There is only one place left that makes these bowls and soon I think they will all be made by machine. Thank you Tommy!
