A relaxing and insightful tour of the capital city's highlights, a river tour by boat and dinner at the central night market
On my personal tour, you can experience our local life as we explore Bandar Seri Begawan (the capital of Brunei) and see some of it's majestic structures. Highlights include the world famous S. O. A. S. Mosque, the Royal Regalia Museum, plus a river tour to the largest water village in SE Asia, plus an opportunity to see Borneo's unique proboscis monkeys. Other wildlife we may see include freshwater crocodiles, monitor lizards and possibly the majestic hornbills and other magnificent birds.
We conclude the tour in the evening by having dinner at the central night market, where you'll have the opportunity to sample some of our delicious local cuisine.
The tour starts after lunch and lasts for around 6 hours.
The price quoted includes personal transportation for up to 4 guests, for larger groups (up to 10 max), it is not inclusive of van or bus rental. Please leave me a message so I can quote you accordingly on the cost.
It's your private tour, so we can pause to view whatever you want, when you want!
The best time to start is after lunch, from 2pm. We can then visit:
1. Royal Regalia Museum (priceless exhibits from His Majesty's family dynasty)
2. Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque (The Late Sultan's mosque - world renowned for its beauty)*
3. Jame Asre Mosque (His Majesty's Mosque)*
4. Water Village Visit to Kapong Ayer (the largest in S. E. Asia)
5. River Tour to the Mangroves and Proboscis Monkeys (unique to Borneo)
6. Pasar Malam Gadong (the central Night Market, to sample the delicious local cuisine for dinner)
*Please note that on Thursdays and Fridays, both mosques are closed to non-Muslim visitors.
If there's something else you would like to do or see, just let me know and I can of course amend the itinerary to suit. Just drop me a line and let me know how I can help you make the most of our afternoon and early evening together. After all, it's your private tour and I aim to ensure you have a great time!

Irene provided a wonderful unique perspective to Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. We very much enjoyed the water village, Kampong Ayer and the home visit that was not on the schedule. Seeing the local culture first-hand is one of the reasons we travel.
